ODDS & RETURNS
Single-bet calculator
Enter a hypothetical amount and one odds format to see equivalent odds and potential returns.
Assumes a winning single bet, before fees or taxes. Total return includes the original amount. A loss returns $0; a push returns the original amount. No parlays or partial settlements.
TWO-OUTCOME SCENARIO
Hedge calculator
Calculate the additional amount that would equalize net outcomes in a hypothetical two-outcome market.
Assumptions and formula
Requires exactly two mutually exclusive outcomes covering the whole market, with identical settlement rules and no draw, push, void or partial settlement. Both amounts must be accepted at the entered odds. Fees, taxes, limits and price changes are excluded.
Opposite amount = original amount × original decimal odds ÷ opposite decimal odds. Net outcome = winning return minus both amounts. The result can be a loss. Rounding can cause small differences between outcomes.
This is arithmetic, not a recommendation to place another bet.

+ PROFIT− LOSS• ENTRY SAVED
All-time overview
Bankroll = starting amount + profit/loss + deposits − withdrawals. Deposits and withdrawals are notes only; no money moves. Record means winning / losing / break-even days, not individual picks. Return on starting bankroll = total profit/loss ÷ starting bankroll; cash flows are excluded and it is not betting ROI.
Unit calculator
A unit is a chosen percentage of a bankroll. Enter your own figures; no percentage is recommended.
The calculation
One unit = bankroll × chosen percentage ÷ 100. Selected amount = one unit × number of units. Remaining amount assumes that amount is set aside or lost. It is not a prediction of your future balance.
Amounts are rounded to cents for display; calculations retain full precision. No automatic increases after losses, staking strategy or private CDUBS rules are applied.
CDUBS PICKS / ALLOCATION LAB
20 / 80 / 20. Your split, explained.
Explore a fixed allocation framework: a 20% total exposure ceiling, divided 80/20 between two categories. This is a limit in the framework, not an amount you need to spend.
20%Maximum combined exposure
80%Of that limit: 1–2 selections
20%Of that limit: 3–6 selections
How the framework works
Start with the whole bankroll. The first 20% caps the total tied up at once—not each wager and not a new allowance for every slip. The other 80% stays outside the allocation.
Divide the ceiling, not the whole bankroll. Four-fifths of the exposure limit belongs to the 1–2 selection category; one-fifth belongs to the 3–6 selection category. That equals 16% and 4% of the full bankroll. Slips with seven or more selections fall outside this framework.
Recalculate when the balance changes. After results settle, update your bankroll and subtract any stakes still open. An unused allowance is optional; it does not need to be filled. This tool does not move money or update your calendar.
Follow the numbers
$1,000 bankroll $200 combined ceiling → $160 for 1–2 selections + $40 for 3–6 selections. $800 stays outside the allocation.
After a $200 loss: $800 bankroll $160 combined ceiling → $128 + $32. The allocation shrinks with the balance.
At a $1,500 bankroll $300 combined ceiling → $240 + $60. These examples assume no other open stakes.
An allocation is not a prediction.
Fewer selections do not make a bet safe. Odds and the underlying events still matter. A 20% exposure can mean losing one-fifth of your bankroll at once. This framework does not create an edge, prevent losses, or guarantee a profitable month. You can use a smaller limit or choose not to wager.
PROBABILITY
Odds & probability
Convert American odds, decimal odds, or a probability you supply into equivalent numbers.
What the probability means
Implied probability is the break-even rate indicated by a price, before fees and excluding pushes. It includes any margin in that price; it is not an independently estimated chance of winning. Entering your own probability does not validate that estimate.
Decimal odds D: probability = 1 ÷ D. Positive American odds A: probability = 100 ÷ (A + 100). Negative American odds A: probability = |A| ÷ (|A| + 100).
These conversions do not remove bookmaker margin or account for commissions, taxes, correlated outcomes or market-specific settlement rules.
Keep the calculation in context.
